In light of the current Coronavirus Cover 19 health crisis we are all facing a lot of uncertainty, that will likely last several months. As a small business, we thank you for your continued support to help us through this challenging time. Equally, we thought we’d tell you what we are doing to help tackle this health crisis:
As a food and drinks business, we already follow safe practices to avoid the spread of viruses throughout our premises. We are however taking additional measures to help minimise the risk of the virus being spread:
We've taken all of our food caddies away. Knives and forks as well as salt and pepper shakers are to be kept back of house.
We're going cashless for the foreseeable future. This is an attempt minimise the risk of contamination.
We will be taking our water station away for the time being. Please ask at the bar for some water.
We are sanitising door handles on our front door and our toilet doors regularly and we are being extra vigilant to ensure tables, chairs and menus are sprayed with disenfectant after use.
We will ensure any staff member that has flu like symptoms will be asked to stay away and go into self isolation for 7 days.
Any customer who may be worried about their own symptoms, or are coughing a lot/have a fever. We ask that you please stay away for 7 days until you are recovered.
The above is all based on current Government advice, common sense, and a desire to act responsibly whilst also remaining calm.
For a lot of small businesses like ourselves this crisis has the potential to do some real damage. We ask that you follow the advice while continuing to give us your support, wherever possible so that we can also protect the livelihoods of our team.
