Happy Food

Like many of you, we've had a bit of time to play in the kitchen the last few weeks. There have been lots of pancakes, often topped with my magical dust, which is currently my favourite (and very simple) thing to make.

Here's the basic recipe...
- A handful of nuts (pistachios, cashews or pecans work well)
- A handful of dried berries (e.g goji or cranberries)
- 1/4 handful rose petals optional (quite reasonable on Amazon)

Optional extras... a teaspoon of maca powder, a pinch of vanilla powder, half a teaspoon of cinnamon or quarter teaspoon ground cardamom. Edible glitter would be amazing too but I haven't gone that far (yet!). Equally, feel free to make up your own recipes, the possibilities are endless.

Blitz everything to a dust in your food processor.

We serve it with dark chocolate and coconut yoghurt for our pudding, sprinkled on pancakes or on top of a smoothie.

A note on dust: yes it's magical and it makes you smile and it looks fun in a jar alongside your nuts and seeds.
