Join us at The Meadow for a morning dedicated entirely to your own health and wellbeing.
We'll meet at the cafe from 8am to enjoy a wellbeing tonic, settle into the yoga space and meet Kerry Curson, your teacher for the morning.
Kerry has taught yoga across West Wales since 2014. Her ‘style’ is a mixture between Vinyasa Flow, and slow static holds with an alignment focus. Marrying the therapeutic benefits of yoga with strong and playful movement, all geared towards reconnecting to the Self and disconnecting from the day to day stresses of modern life. You can find more information on Kerry here.
The theme of our January Brunch will be: Retune, Restore and Reconnect
So much of the New year message is about creating change, looking to improve yourself or things in your life. Yoga recognises the person as always exactly where they are supposed to be in this life, change will come in time but it might not need to be now just because it’s January, this is a beauty worth celebrating. In this 90 minute class the sequence begins strong and grounding, working with the hips to release seasonal stresses and anxiety aligning the first chakra before building inner fire at the second and third chakras surrounding the solar plexus with some core work. We’ll then take our journey up the spine with some heart opening backbends that not only help us to open to what is, but also boost mood and energy which is always in need of a boost in the cooler winter months. All rounded off with a sumptuous yoga nidra.
A nourishing brunch will follow, allowing you to chat with your fellow yogis and reflect on the morning around a communal table.
There is an optional coastal hike after brunch lead by Meadow co-owner and health coach, Nick. It is our aim that you will leave feeling energised as well as calm and relaxed, ready to fully embrace the week ahead or even your holiday!
